Rabbi Stacy Bergman is a dynamic and creative spiritual leader, teacher and lifecycle officiant based in Westchester, New York. She believes in the power of Jewish tradition and connection to inspire and create meaning. Whether teaching, preaching or officiating, Rabbi Stacy specializes in making Judaism creative, personal and accessible. Rabbi Stacy brings warmth, a rich knowledge of tradition, and inclusivity to meet couples, families, and students wherever they are in order create a meaningful experience.
Rabbi Stacy is originally from Baltimore, MD and she still recalls what her own rabbi said to her on the day she became a Bat Mitzvah. This ultimately led her to pursue the rabbinate. She received her BA from Tufts University and worked in the fashion industry for 2 years before receiving her Rabbinic Ordination and a Masters Degree in Hebrew Letters at Hebrew Union College (HUC-JIR).
Rabbi Stacy served as the Director of Jewish Life at the Rosenthal JCC in Pleasantville, NY, as the Assistant Rabbi at Temple Beth El in Chappaqua, NY and as the Assistant Rabbi at Temple Shaaray Tefila in Bedford, NY. She is currently an independent Rabbi creating innovative programming in the Tri-state area.
In addition, Rabbi Stacy teaches yoga and Mahjongg in her local community. She can often be found hiking with her 2 dogs or singing Broadway show tunes with her husband and 3 children.
